In late July - early August in Krasnaya Polyana ROSENGINEERING carried ecological measures having planted chestnut seedlings and relocated Caucasian toads.
900 seedlings of chestnut were planted in Maryinsky forestry on an area of 1.5 hectares. Chestnut is listed in the Red Book and refers to the species of trees which are forbidden to harvest.
Also the migration of Caucasian toads from plots of planned construction to neighboring sites with similar biotopes within the territory of Krasnopolyansky district was carried out. The Caucasian toad is included in the Red Book and considered to be the largest amphibian in Russia.
Both events were held as part of the compensation measures on the object "Reconstruction of the Psekhako-F Passenger Cableway”.
Ecological measures to recover ecosystem were carried out also earlier this the year. During the summer ROSENGINEERING released sturgeon in the river Kuban and planted Red Book plants in Krasnaya Polyana.
